The North Georgia Children’s Chorus is happy to have you visit our site. Take a minute to see what we’re all about, and be sure to attend our upcoming Fall concert!
Audition dates are August 12 and 19 (Mondays) at Dahlonega Baptist Church, between 4:00-5:30. New singers need to schedule a short vocal interview on one of those dates. Returning singers will do a vocal range check at the Summer Saturday event.
Fall Session – Primary Choir Plus
Rehearsals are on Mondays beginning September 9 and ending November 11. There is no rehearsal on October 21 (fall break). Singers will learn music and singing basics, and enjoy plenty of movement activities. They will also learn several performance pieces to share with family at the end of the course. There is no public performance, and no t-shirts or uniforms.
Read-through/registration day is January 13, 2020. Rehearsals resume (after MLK holiday) on January 27, and run through March 30. There is no rehearsal on February 17 (winter break).
The mission of the North Georgia Children’s Chorus is to train young singers musically and artistically, and to sing to the glory of God. The Chorus is dedicated to developing musical excellence, artistry, and literacy through the choral arts. We strive to give our singers an experience that will inspire them and encourage them to continue making music throughout their lives.
